Nearly 25 years ago, the studio released its first film, Toy Story, and since then it has grown into a cinematic powerhouse that seems to be quietly weaving a great narrative between all of its films. All these brilliant "kids" movies, which seem to be disconnected, may actually be part of the same universe. There is even a theory for this, called The Pixar Theory, popularized by Jon Negroni.

The Pixar Cinematic Universe (PCU), is very subtle, with little clues strewn across 24 different movies and set in this wild alternate history story on Earth. It begins with The Good Dinosaur when the asteroid narrowly missed Earth and the dinosaurs survived.

Thereafter, Earth becomes controlled by dinosaurs, then humans, followed by machines, and finally intelligent animals, throughout millions of years in the PCU.
